LEVE Mobility presents
SWAPACK is a modular battery-swapping platform designed for light electric mobility, mobile energy, and intelligent charging infrastructure.
The Challenge
"Every manufacturer. Every format. Every time."
The light electric mobility sector is defined by proprietary battery formats — each OEM, each platform, each application demanding its own incompatible system. The result is a market fragmented by design.
Each OEM deploys its own battery format, making cross-platform compatibility impossible and driving up costs for operators.
Charging and swapping networks must be rebuilt from scratch for every vehicle type, wasting capital and slowing adoption.
Without a common standard, battery modules become stranded assets — difficult to repurpose, recycle or redeploy.
The Platform
SWAPACK is a proprietary interface architecture under development by LEVE Mobility. It is designed to enable a single battery format to serve multiple vehicle types, applications and operators — reducing fragmentation, lowering total cost of ownership and unlocking new models for energy sharing and circular deployment.
Designed from the outset to serve diverse platforms: from compact urban vehicles to professional equipment and beyond.
SWAPACK's architecture is optimised for rapid battery exchange, enabling operational continuity without lengthy charging stops.
The platform is conceived to integrate with smart charging and energy management systems, supporting grid-responsive deployment.
A shared format enables batteries to be redeployed, repurposed and recycled across the full ecosystem — not stranded in proprietary silos.
SWAPACK is currently in development. Specifications and applications remain subject to engineering validation.
Applications
SWAPACK is being designed to serve a broad range of light electric mobility and energy applications.
City-optimised EVs and micro-mobility platforms where fast battery exchange transforms operational economics.
Last-mile logistics operators demand uptime. SWAPACK's swap architecture keeps fleets moving without depot charging delays.
L-category quadricycles represent a growing urban mobility segment — SWAPACK is designed to serve this platform class.
Two-wheel platforms across commuter, delivery and leisure segments, where battery swap unlocks new ownership and fleet models.
Beyond mobility: ground support equipment, mobile power tools and off-grid professional applications where reliable, swappable energy matters.
SWAPACK's architecture is being explored for light marine applications — a nascent but significant frontier for zero-emission waterborne transport.
Application suitability is subject to ongoing engineering validation. Not all applications are confirmed for initial deployment.
Test Bed
eMoTria is LEVE Mobility's compact electric quadricycle concept and the initial vehicle platform through which SWAPACK's interface architecture is being developed and validated. As the first real-world test bed for the SWAPACK system, eMoTria represents the convergence of vehicle design and energy platform thinking — a proving ground for what a swap-ready future can look like.
eMoTria is a development vehicle. Commercial specifications have not been confirmed.
Circularity
When a battery module reaches end-of-vehicle-life, a shared format enables redeployment into stationary storage or alternative platforms.
SWAPACK's architecture is conceived to support second-life applications — extending battery value beyond the first use cycle.
A common format simplifies end-of-life processing, reducing the complexity and cost of responsible battery recycling at scale.
"Circularity is not an afterthought in SWAPACK — it is a design principle."
Development Roadmap
SWAPACK is progressing through a structured development programme. Key milestones are outlined below.
